Overview

This luxurious Westin flagship property is located in downtown Portland and delivers everything that travelers have come to know and appreciate from the brand: a glamorous, yet unfussy level of service and class of a boutique hotel but the ability to earn or redeem Starwood (and now Marriott) Reward points. Families will spread out in one of the 16 Westin Studio Suites, with over 470 square feet (that’s 200 more space more than regular rooms), and a separate sitting area featuring a custom designed sleeper sofa. More perks for families needing even more space during their stay in Portland include a 25-percent discount on a second room and the availability of connecting rooms. Kids under 12 eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée in the Westin’s onsite restaurant, the Daily Grill.

Week long Business trip at the perfect hotel

by legit_reviewing

I'll start by giving a shoutout to the entire staff, from the Valet to all of the concierge who had solid recommendations all around! I want to thank Nico for helping me with awesome suggestions for things to do in the Portland area; he knew everything from the good coffee shops, restaurant suggestions, and gave me a pointer to scope out Mount Tabor which was an awesome view! I also want to thank Damien who was very helpful and helped to accommodate me upon arrival based on my flight time.

As someone who travels a decent amount for work, this hotel was definitely one that I would revisit without a doubt. The rooms were very cozy, and had an option for environmentally friendly cleaning option. There is so much to do relative to the location of the hotel, and it is just a 5 minute walk to the heart of downtown Portland. There is also a hotel bar and restaurant (Rosa Rosa) that offers amazing food, service, and good company after a workday.

I highly recommend this option if you are staying in Downtown Portland!!

Gordon Sondland

This is a Gordon Sondland property. We’ve stayed here several times and even recommended it. Last stay was marginal. Now that we know about Sondland, will never stay in this or related hotels again. As you’re making your choices, perhaps this is relevant to you, too.
