If you're looking for a laid back vacation with lots of sailing and water sports and very little decision making, Bitter End Yacht club might be the place for you. We took our then 9 and 13 year old kids for a spring break vacation and really had a more +great time. Loved the accommodations in treehouse style beach villas. Really felt like you were sleeping outdoors in the trees, with a beautiful view of the bay. Ask for family specials. The Beach Villas are really duplexes, so they are ideal if you want two rooms. Better for older kids as they connect outside on the balcony/deck. Would be hard to navigate with infants and toddlers as you need to hike up a bunch of steps to get to your villa. Sailing was terrific. Always a good breeze and they have a very large fleet of several different kinds and sizes of sailboats with never a wait. There were two different kinds of kids programs -- one based on water sports which our kids really enjoyed, and one that was more arts and crafts which was less attended but ok.

Only complaint was food and service could be better and it's a hike to get there, involving a couple of planes and a ferry ride. But we loved and and would go back. If you're not into sailing and water sports, probably not the best place for you.
