This Marriott lies in Southern California's Palm Desert near Palm Springs. Its one- or two-bedroom and two-bath villas feature full kitchens, washer/dryers, living and dining areas and two private balconies. Families will want to visit each of the seven pools on the premises. Guests can also enjoy the adjacent sister resort, which offers golf courses, tennis facilities and a spa. Families will also find more restaurants next door, though the onsite restaurants can accommodate all meals. The Sandcastle is a recreation center for kids of all ages. Inside, there are videogame consoles, arcades, arts and crafts, and a drive-in movie theater. The Knott's Soak City Waterpark is not far from the resort.
