The Royal Haciendas is located 10 minutes north of Playa del Carmen. One of the best features of The Royal is its accommodations. Guests stay in spacious two-bedroom two-bathroom villas that fit up to six people. Villas have full kitchens and ocean-view terraces. At night, kids can relax while watching their own DVDs. Two onsite restaurants and a take-away food counter offer a variety of food for all meals. Families can enjoy the special themed meals, from BBQ Cookout Night to Oriental Night. Guests may enjoy four large pools, as well as two kiddie pools and an onsite playground. An array of planned activities, including Mini Olympics and Water Balloon War, are offered daily, with separate planned activities for teens, such as video games and movie time. The Royal offers kayaks, snorkel gear, bikes and golf clubs to enhance family's vacations.
