This newly renovated Marriot hotel is in the center of it all, just a short walk away from the Picasso Museum, orange tree-lined Paseo del Parque, the Alcazaba, La Malagueta Beach and Castillo de Gibralfaro. The best part is the exceptional panoramic views of the port, cathedral and waterfront, which you can enjoy during a dip in the rooftop pool or after dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Family Rooms and suites are available, as is a fitness center. Despite being in the center of it all, this hotel is very secure with several doormen on staff to make you feel comfortable at all times.

The hotel is nicely situated, so you could walk almost everywhere in central Malaga. We had a water view and watched all the cruise ships, Octopus, sailboats coming and going. 5 mins to central market, next to the cathedral, and walking distance to various historic sites. We enjoyed our breakfasts, approx, 17 Euros, everyday here, and then went out to sample tapas, wine, bars and restaurants around town. Seafoods are exceptional here. We loved our housekeeping staff, they were very attentive, friendly, and nice. Room was always made up, clean, and refreshed after our breakfast. We will come back again, definitely. BTW, the WiFi really sucks.
Fantastic location, very helpful hotel reception staff, room was spacious and clean with a great view. The rooftop view and bar is incredible, it does get very busy which is not surprising given how amazing the view is. Would definitely stay again.
