Paradors are historic buildings renovated to modern hotel accommodations. This parador, built atop Mount Gibralfaro, offers some of the most sensational views of the city of Malaga, its busy port and the Mediterranean Sea. Sitting outside on the terrace, you can capture the most postcard-worthy pictures as you relax and enjoy some fresh Andalucian cuisine or sweet Malaga wine.
The Alcazaba Moorish fortress, a key Malaga landmark built in the 11th century, is across the way from this 38-room hotel, which features a rooftop swimming pool. The Parador de Malaga Golf is also nearby, for those that would like to swing a club on the 18-hole course, the putting green or at the golf school. Most rooms come with two twin beds and the restaurant menus can be customized for children or those with special dietary needs.

The restaurant at the Parador is a huge disappointment!!
The location is AMAZING !! The staff are rude and not professional,
and the food is lacking.. the only thing they know how to do is
OVER CHARGE !!
This parador is a must for everyone interested in history and Malaga city.
My first experience with a parador ( in order to sleep) and surely not my last one.
If and hopefully coming Back to Malaga I will pay the parador a new visit.
Coming by CAR is quite a challenge.
