A new addition to the family is always a joyous occasion. But when you make the decision to have a third child, the joy of booking one hotel room may be a little less fun. Luckily, many all inclusive resorts have caught up with growing families and can easily accommodate a family of five or more. And with the addition of all inclusive amenities, that joyous family vacation is easily attainable again. These are our top picks for the best all inclusive resorts for families of five or more.

1. Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa – St. Lucia

This 80-acre island property features five pools, tennis and basketball courts and the largest water park in St. Lucia. The all-inclusive rates include unlimited food and beverage and access to the water park, kids’ club and CocoLand, which includes a petting zoo, paintball and mini zip-line. There’s entertainment, theme nights, water sports and fitness classes, and an airport transfer is included as well.

Located in the Splash Wing or the family section of Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa, there are two-bedroom connecting guestrooms that can accommodate up to six people. The connecting rooms feature a separate sitting area with a sleeper sofa and private balcony or patio, and the bedrooms can feature either a king bed or two queen beds, making it an ideal all-inclusive resort for a family of five.

2. Azul Fives Hotel – Playa del Carmen, Mexico

The name kind of says it all with this all-inclusive for a family of five. Two- and three-bedroom suites, which can easily accommodate a family of five or more, are available at this Mexico resort. The two-bedroom suites feature a kitchen, a living room with a sleeper sofa, a master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with two double beds. The three-bedroom suites feature the same as the two-bedroom with the addition of a third bedroom with two more double beds. There is space for everyone in these enormous suites.

The all-inclusive rates at Azul Fives Hotel include a flexible meal plan, kids’ menu, kids’ club for ages 4 to 12, snorkeling equipment, entertainment, tennis, volleyball, Ping-Pong, shuffleboard and more. 3. Melia Caribe Tropical – Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

This all-inclusive resort features nine outdoor pools, a zipline, rock climbing wall, super jumper and craft workshops. The beach, of course, is only steps away and there are numerous restaurants from which to choose.

The Family Junior Suite is the best option at Melia Caribe Tropical for families of five. While space may still be at a premium in these suites, the children’s amenities make up for it. The suites feature a king bed and two twin beds, and a sleeper sofa or rollaway bed are available upon request. There is a dividing curtain for privacy, a step stool for children in the bathroom, an extra set of drawers for children’s belongings, children’s bath amenities and beach toys.

4. Barcelo Puerto Vallarta – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

There are four swimming pools and the beach at this all-inclusive resort for families of five. A kids’ club for ages 5 to 12, water sports, a game room and nightly entertainment are also included in the the all-inclusive rate.

The Family Suite at Barcelo Puerto Vallarta features two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (score!); one has a king bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. A mini-fridge and coffeemaker are available and families can enjoy the terrace or balcony.

5. Beaches Turks and Caicos – Turks and Caicos

Beaches Turks and Caicos offers the ultimate in luxury all-inclusive for families of five or even 12. The extremely spacious suites and villas can accommodate between five and 14 people. The multi-bedroom villas feature large living rooms and dining rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and butler service. The smallest of the suite options features a full kitchen, one bedroom with a king bed and large living room with two queen sleeper sofas. Cribs and rollaway beds are also available. These suites can easily accommodate a family of five and butler service is also included.

This all-inclusive resort is dedicated to families, so in addition to being able to accommodate large families, the rate also includes things like a kids’ club for five different age groups, a water park, Xbox play lounge, a junior golf program and scuba program and certified nannies. But it offers all of the benefits of an all-inclusive resort while feeling like a boutique hotel that offers more personalized service. The suites at Binniguenda All Inclusive resort can accommodate between five and six people.
