We stayed one night at The Arbor Inn and it is a good & affordable choice when staying in Monterey. The room was clean and it was very quiet although the hotel was fully booked. Furthermore, there is ample parking space at the hotel and the staff is very friendly.

Stayed for three nights on a road trip. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. We enjoyed our room on the upper level with a view of the bay, the fireplace was welcome on the chilly mornings and it was good to have a fridge and microwave. The location was good, quiet, plenty of parking and a short walk to town. We walked to Cannery Row and were glad we didn’t stay down there as it is not so central. Our room was spacious and clean. The not so great things were the wifi which didn’t seem able to cope in the early morning and evenings perhaps with the number of people using it. We also asked for an extra pillow and were told it wasn’t possible. But overall a pleasant stay and a nice place to come back to after big days out.
