Overview

A New York-style boutique hotel is the last thing you might expect to find in the wilds of New Hamsphire’s North Woods, but this luxury lodging on the fringes of the White Mountains delivers with stylish and sexy rooms that are spacious enough for the whole family. In addition to rooms with two queens or a king and fold-out sofa bed, the hotel has several larger family suites that can sleep up to seven.

Of course rooms come equipped with all the fixings, including flat-screen TVs, luxury bath products, and wet bar with fridge and sink in the rooms. The premises also has a highly-reviewed restaurant that, as a bonus to Jewish guests, happens to be kosher. In addition, there is a swanky cocktail bar and juice bar and an indoor pool and Jacuzzi. The hotel is located within an easy drive of both Cannon and Bretton Woods ski areas, and just around the corner from Santa’s Village theme park.

Not worth the cost!

Arrived at Hotel, no where to park to check in. You have to park in the upper lot and walk back down to the entrance. It had snowed a couple of inches the day before. Lot had not been cleared. Had to walk through packed down icy snow. Go to front desk to check in and we are informed that the restaurant and bar are closed for renovation. Hello, post that on the website!! No offer of reduced room charge. We were given a $10 gift card to Dunkin instead! Came back to hotel for the night, driveway from parking to entrance covered in ice, informed front desk. It was like talking to a stone. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Walls paper thin, you could hear the people in the next room having a normal conversation as if they were in our room. Rooms are very poorly furnished. the room is large, but nothing in it. TV on the wall is so small it looks weird.

Bethlehem....not

We arrived to our hotel, large and modern...I think they are still finishing, cupboards falling apart, toilet roll holder on a lean..just to name a few. Very modern foyer, but a huge smashed window taking prominence.. the place was eerily empty at breakfast time. All plastic chuckable plates, cups and cutlery. Two containers of cornflakes and one of rice bubbles, milk came out later. We felt we were the last ones standing and they were waiting for us to leave to shut the doors. An adventure to the pool, through a maze of locked doors and then trying to find our way out again was interesting....goodness knows what you would do in an emergency! The place felt grubby, we won’t be back.
