We only stayed on the island of Kauai for 3 nights and we are glad we picked the Hilton! The hotel is not far from the airport and it’s a lovely, quiet hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel and pool area was clean. We were on our honeymoon so the staff upgraded us to a ocean view room which was lovely. The restaurant at the hotel isn’t extensive but is suitable for a night or two. We got an Uber to lava lava beach club which was recommended by a member of staff at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice hotel. My absolute favorite part was the lobby. From the moment we walked in, I loved it. Felt so tropical and nice. They give little necklaces to feel the part.
The elevator..oh the elevator. It smelled terrible and was not in the best condition every time we got in. It was old and dirty. The good part is we are physically able people and we’re able to avoid the elevator at all times.
Room was clean, old but clean. Which is probably the most important thing to me when I stay somewhere. Even has a Keurig in the room and two bottles of water daily (part of your resort fee).
We ate at Mamahune’s the first night, and it was a kinda weird/fun experience. The poor waiter looked very lost, but we had a good time just enjoying the night and making the best out of it.
The best person we met was Michael! He was so sweet! I had injured/hurt my back and when we arrived to the hotel, he noticed how I was walking and gave me tips on how to fix my back. Best part is he remembered us a couple days later, and came up to us to ask how I was feeling. He was the sweetest person!
I enjoyed the breakfast, the coconut syrup was good! We ate there because we had a daily credit, but if not, we probably would’ve ate elsewhere.
Now, our flight was leaving at night, and we didn’t have anywhere to shower prior to our flight. The front desk offered their hospitality room, which was an awesome option prior to a long couple flights. But, there was no air! We were running out of that room after we showered, it was so hot. It was nice to shower, but wow, hot. I mentioned it to the front desk attendant incase they didn’t know, and she was quite aware and said they are working on it. So hopefully the next person who uses it, has air.
Nice hotel, does the job it needs to do!
