A gem of a resort in beautiful surroundings

by Stacey C

We travelled to Barefoot Beach prior to a flight from Tampa Airport and needed somewhere to stay overnight (2adults 1 5year old).

The swimming pool and room were very clean, welcoming and more homely and quirky than a 'generic' chain hotel rooms (unfortunately becoming more common in the beautiful Clearwater area)

The major draw of this place however is the extensive local knowledge that the staff have. On arrival staff took time to explain the local sightseeing opportunities and direct us to restaurants that as tourists we would not have ventured to, which gave us a more authentic experience of Clearwater, which was invaluable as we were only visiting for a short time.

Very close to the main transport links with a bus stop outside, a short walk to the main town (which is beautiful) and 3 minute walk to the beach.

A true gem!

Paradise!

An amazing small family run motel in the heart of Clearwater Beach. 2-3 minutes walk to Pier 60 and the most beautiful beach.
The British owners couldn't do enough for us and their staff are all so nice and friendly.
We had room 9 (of 16) next to a nice pool - very refreshing on a hot day!
The bed was large and very comfortable and the shower was also excellent.
Alas I could only give 5 stars, and can't wait to return in the future
