Like others, I found this hotel a bit dated despite obvious renovations. Plus side: It does sit right on the beach and provides a number of beach-related amenities and perks. Downside: I also cringed at the additional fees (resort and parking) which make the posted rack rates understated.
We were here for a professional conference. I'm not sure, having stayed here, if we'd come back for a personal visit.
I would have to agree on some comments here as the hotel is looking dated especially when you see the other newer hotels. But the rooms are OK, nice and clean which matters and staff are helpful and welcoming although the aircon is a bit on the noisy side.
My biggest annoyance staying at this hotel is the 'Parking fee' which is $25 a day which is extortionate as you are already having to pay the 'Resort Fee' which should inc parking. In fact just to rant on... You shouldn't really have to pay any of these ridicoulous fees as it should all be part of the price you pay to stay at the hotel.
So would I stay here again?......Unless they drop their fees then a big NO!
