The new Wyndham Grand opened on Clearwater Beach in January 2017. Offering 343 guest rooms in two towers with ocean or intracoastal views and free Wi-Fi, the hotel is steps from Pier 60 and boating activities. An outdoor pool overlooks the beach, and guests can enjoy all-day dining at the hotel’s Asian-fusion Ocean Hai organic restaurant. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., the menu includes sushi and sashimi. A lobby cafe, Eskpades, provides coffee and snacks from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Poolside dining is also available at DocK’s Pool Bar & Grill between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. Room options provide accommodations for two to four with a king or two queen beds. Rooms feature mini fridges and flat-screen TVs, with suites also including sofa beds in living areas and a dining area.
The best part about this hotel? The Winter the Dolphin-themed guestrooms! The six aquatic-themed rooms offer one king bed and a bunk bed for families of four.

I wrung my hands for weeks trying to decide where to stay for my wife and my trip to Clearwater Beach. Small and funky, big and resort like? I was willing to spend up to $200/nt so there were many options. I kept coming back to the Wyndham due to location, previous reviews, and photos. SO GLAD WE STAYED HERE!
From the moment we pulled up every staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and super helpful. The lobby is bright and spacious and right on the beach past the pool. Our room was sparkling with a sweet balcony over looking the street and back toward St. Pete.
There was a set in the Parkin g garage to park our bikes and everything was within. walking, biking distance. They have chairs and umbrella on the beach for hotel guests. as well.
Overall, this was possibly the best hotel stay experience I've had. Highly recommended.

Awesome place. This is our 3rd visit this year. We are Wyndham timeshare owners and visit Bonnet Creek resort almost monthly. We love the lazy rivers. We came here and stayed on the time share side in a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. We loved the floor to ceiling windows, the balcony with a view of the ocean and the intercoastal. The design was fresh and modern. And the convenience to having the beach just a few steps away. Chelsea was the best. She gave us lots of information about places to eat, told us about the free rides to Shephards famous buffet and even gave us a discount coupon for Ocean Hai and she offered us a glass of champagne. We had friends who were staying here and asked if she could put us near them. She was so accomodating. She put us across the hall from them. Thanks Chelsea for making fellowshipping so wasy. We told all of our friends about the resort. All of us have been trying since January. I was the only one who found availability. When I tried again, I was not so lucky so I decided to try the hotel. Glad I did. The rooms are immaculate, the views are phenomenal and the staff are pleasant and accomodating. The room service is pricey but the chicken salad was great. Ocean Hai is superb. The amuse bouches from the chef was edamame with black salt, the next visit, it was crab ragoon. The chef is very creative. We had a bento box, a soup with choices of the ingredients and the $5 small bites to try. I love that because I got to taste things that I otherwise would not have ordered. The fortune cookie is scrumptious. When it came, we were shocked. It was the size of a dinner plate surrounded by fresh fruit and filled with passionfruit and chocolate mousse. The three of us really enjoyed. All they need is a lazy river and I would put Bonnet Creek resort down for the Wyndham Clearwater Grand or resort. It is the onky place I have found that closely compares. Keep up the good work.
