Helpful Staff.

The people at Brynwood really took care of my family. We drove 12 hours with three kids to stay in one of their facilities. Before I start with my story, the facilities are awesome, the location is great (a stone's throw from the national park) and the river was very pretty. Many of the units have hot tubs, and having a kitchen was great. The cabins aren't brand new- but that wasn't the expectation. Our first night wasn't so great. The cabin we were staying in had been vacant for a little while and some mice and decided to move in. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until it was very late. The next day, we contacted the manager and we were quickly moved to a different unit. The mouse problem was also dealt with promptly. When you're in a cabin close to trees- it happens, I get it. What I appreciated was the swift action. We were given a small discount to make up for the first night not being so great :). The staff was very helpful and accommodating. If we ever come back again with all three kids and my parents, we will stay here again.

Nice setting but needs some TLC

Brynwood had both motel rooms and cabins. We decided to opt for the cabins because of the river view. The pros: screened in porch overlooking the river, friendly helpful sfaff. The cons: the cabins needed some upkeep and cleaning. Many of the screens were broken or bent so bugs came in. Some windows did not open. The carpet was filthy near the walls with dirt and hair, also under the beds looked like it had not been cleaned in months. There was mold on the shower walls, and paint chipping on the shower window sill.
