TripAdvisor Rating

Situated right on the beach on Grand Bahama Island, Coral Beach Resort offers affordable accommodations in a great location. Rooms have either two double beds or one queen size bed, air conditioning, cable television, mini-refrigerators and coffeemakers. The property also features condos –some of which have multiple bedrooms and full kitchens — that are available for rent from their individual owners.

The hotel has a large swimming pool and spacious sun deck with plenty of loungers, as well as a restaurant and bar overlooking the ocean. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves local seafood and Texas-style barbecue, and the bar hosts a nightly happy hour. A number of palapa-style shelters are set up on the beach just outside the hotel. Port Lucaya Marketplace, where visitors will find plenty of shops and restaurants, is just a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

Lovely hotel in a nice location

by Jane C

The hotel was lovely and very clean. Good variety of different foods but buffet only. Despite booking all inclusive it was not. Disappointing to find out that most of the cocktails and drinks were only available on the all inclusive plus package that the hotel tried to sell on top! Lunch by the pool again was not included. One last negative observation was the diabolical way they treated a newly married couple! Before the couple had even had their pictures and walked back down the jetty two men in a white van reversed up to clear the chairs away. Almost running over the brides dress. Appalling behaviour for a hotel like this. Overall we had a good week chilling out.

A great all inclusive holiday destination

Travelled in September , our first time to Cyprus and it was great. The hotel complex itself is huge, the rooms are big , we had a sea view suite in the main building, the pool area is really relaxed, there are a few people up early claiming sun beds but for the most part you could walk down and find somewhere to chill anytime of the day. The food choices are great, there are a lot of options, we are a family of 4 with some fussy eaters, and had no problems. The pool and beach bars are great, the local beers are not bad. Drinking in the lobby bar is hit and miss sometimes, the staff serve you at your table and sometimes , it didn't feel like there were enough people working, also the beer tasted different - i think it's the way they wash the glasses (Ask for a plastic cup, its better. The staff worked hard and were, on the whole very good, Tammta (I think the spelling is correct!) deserves special praise, she was great, always smiling and always helpful. Plenty of day trips available (ask reception for a leaflet) from the hotel door and also a good bus service into Paphos. Overall an excellent holiday, will definitely be back !
