Fabulous

Five stars do not do justice to the Aphrodite Resort Hotel. This property is absolutely fantastic and a jewel we are so glad to have found. Being seasoned travellers through work and fortunate to travel far and wide we have stayed at some rather exclusive hotels and resorts. The Aphrodite excels where others fail in five star branding. Having been to other TUI Sensatori Resorts, we were excited to see what lay ahead. On arrival at Paphos Airport you are greeted by your exclusive Sensatori welcome team where you are whisked away with a very short journey to the Hotel. Stepping through the doors to be greeted with cooling face towels, sparkling wine, soft drinks and nibbles while your cases are taken to your room by concierge. We had booked a deluxe double room situated within the main building which was carpeted throughout. What a room! A grand entrance with tiled flooring, double doors invite you in to a large bathroom with a huge walk in rain shower and separate bath. A large sink area with plenty of space for those holiday essentials. The added touch was the LED vanity mirror which the wife said was a great addition. His and Hers towelling robes and slippers are ready for you. There is a extensive wardrobe area that includes plenty of shelves alongside a iron and board with a very easy safe to use(hit reset choose a code and away u go). The rooms have full air conditioning and one of the best we have come across.. Simple to use and works perfectly.. A queen size bed with a medium soft mattress gives you plenty of sleeping space with drawers either side.. There's a mini fridge stocked with soft drinks and beers with water replenished daily. A nice treat of cookies sits waiting for you. There is a large desk dressing area with a pull up mirror in the middle where you will also find the hairdryer. Large TV In the room with plenty of channel choice and another large chest of drawers for even more storage. There is a pillow menu where if ur would like to change give reception and a call and they will oblige. Our room had a large balcony that overlooked a walkway through the grounds of the hotel.. So very quiet.. Our first morning arrived and off to breakfast we go the main restaurant with different sections to suit everyone.. Those with children and Adults, breakfast is also served in the fig and olive restaurant exclusive to adults only. Every meal you are greeted at the entrance and shown to a table.. There are plenty of tables at all times and the layout never makes ir seem crowded or to noisey and just the right ambience. Breakfast choice is superb and the list is endless, the best breakfast range we have seen in a all inclusive property and the kids at breakfast and every meal time have a vary large section to them self's with endless choices. Staff ensure you are constantly topped up with tea and coffee. The resort is big and is wrapped around the resorts golf course and every turn u take will give you fantastic views.. We suggest tui welcome meeting just for the walking tour to ensure you know where everything thing is as there are pools everywhere.. Bars and snack bars and a number of restaurants you don't want to miss. Lunch is served in the main restaurant or the choice of the Mexican for those not wanting that there are snack bars with food to order... Pizza.. Hot dogs.. Burgers toasties etc.. And again the best we have Cone across. There are a number of bars around the resort to keep you hydrated during around all pools.. With plenty of sunbed table service.. The adult pool area is just fantastic plenty of sunbeds.. A indoor exec lounge that you can get some rest inside from the sun.. Mini pastry and sandwiches.. And fridges that had cans of Pepsi etc.. Our only gripe was the cakes left out where uncovered all day.. The pool bar here is superb and service provided daily by Olivia and the boys is superb a real asset to the resort is Olivia.. Who works hard to ensure the areas, are spotless and we are all hydrated..tbere are numerous pools around the resort.. The kids pool areas for the little ones are superb and are all gated and o ly access in and out is via room key.. We spoke to a few families with litte ones and said the pools for them are brilliant t. Plenty of shade and pool bars for them as well. Many folk on here moan about sunbeds.. Let me assure you there are no issues of course if a holiday consists of u having a sunbed 1cm from the pools edge every day in the same spot.it could be.. But there's are plenty of pools and endless sunbeds.. Do not worry.. Collect your towels daily from 9am and sunbathe away..the whole resort is spotless and there is constant cleaning by housekeeping in and out. Everywhere u go is spotless being bar areas.. Food areas..toilets Around the resort is spotless and credit to the gardens team who make the outside areas so enchanting...for evening meals there are a choice of ala carte restaurants including Asian, Mexican and Mediterranean these are booked via the app or kiosks in reception.. All simple to use and book.. High praise for the Mexican from us superb service from all and food excellent, fresh and oozing flavours.. The tortillas are a must alongside a succulent rib eye..Jasmine is a Asian experience and again was relaxed in a outside candlelight masterpiece in Asian food. We could go on and on about the food.. Just see for yourself and enjoy.. The main restaurant for dinner hosts nightly themes that suits everyone.. Again superb and never rushed with drink service that adds compliments the food. Always a chef on hand if needed and live cooking stations.only little note from us the ice cream area is unmanned and becomes a free for all and gets mixed up and mess really quick with the kids helping the self's u can expect the mix of flavours but for us should be manned a Nighttime around the resort is how you want it to be sip cocktails watching the sunset in the sunset bar... To live guitar and songs in the cardoc bar before and after dinner.. Nightly entertainment is in the showbar where the cast and crew work hard... Some shows just don't work anymore and Tui/Ted really need to review... Saying that the West end musical show on the Saturday evening was superb and really allowed the cast to shine in there ability A GREAT CAST.Helen ward Jackson was the weeks tribute artist as Adele and was amazing and was a great night.. Special mention to the resorts guest relations manager Marie Who we met and was eager to ensure everybody was happy and resolve any issues big or small, A assist to the business. We cannot praise the resort enough.. Ignore those whom moan on here.. Get it booked, relax and enjoy the experience.
U must visit the village square even thou not part of all inclusive a number of restaurants. Shops and bars again with nightly entertainment.. Hotel guests recieve discounts to eat in any of these as well.. It's a lovely area that also includes a mini supermarket and is up some stairs from the resort or a one minute walk from the main doors of the hotel.. Please if you want a 5 Star Luxury break with or without kids this is the place.
