I Liked This Place

by mackeycookie

My family spent a week in Cancun at the Coral Mar. If anyone is contemplating a stay be advised that the place is well kept. I enjoyed the minimalist vibe of the waterfront condos. I appreciated the daily maid service. Most timeshare condos only offer one cleaning per stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure your pleasant stay. The reason I did not give the facility 5 stars is due to the location, no beach access and the on site restaurant. This timeshare is off the beaten path and not accessible to anything. While getting cab service to pick you up or drop you off is pretty efficient, it can become pretty expensive. The other issue is the lack of beach access. It will cost you $25 per person to use the beach at one of the all inclusive resorts. It’s either that or go to one of the very crowded public beaches. If you are looking for a low key hide away, this is surely the place to stay. And finally the restaurant menus is very limited and all you can eat fajitas night is not worth it. ????

Wonderful Vacation

Coral Mar was a really nice small resort it is hidden in a culta-sak neighbored. Close by were two little markets, a resturant and a taco stand ( the tacos were really good). The resort was very clean, landscaping well maintained it was relaxing and very quiet. We brought grandkids and enjoyed everybit of our vacation.
