Lovely stay

by Pajado

We enjoyed our stay here. Very dog friendly. Food was good and we loved the Doris Day movies and memorabilia. Guest and staff are so friendly! Room was a little on the small side and could use some updating but overall we were delighted with the service, ambiance and kindness to our two small dogs in this lovely, historic hotel.

Cute and quirky

by JCA1954

The property itself is beautiful: lovely Mediterranean facade, tile floors in the lobby, cozy lounge with fireplace, outdoor cafe. The rooms (especially bathrooms) are a bit tight, but clean. Staff is wonderful, and breakfast with a variety of hot and cold dishes. And the quirky part: This is dog heaven: many of the guests had dogs of all sizes, all well behaved. Saturday evening a singer is in the lounge, and the pups are all all on the floor listening. We have been there twice (once with our dog, once without), and while the dog aspect could strike some as odd, it really makes the place feel more like a home than a hotel.
