At the sprawling 768-room Fairmont Banff Springs, built in 1888 as a replica of a Scottish baronial manor home, parents can soothe aching muscles from hiking or skiing at the hotel’s 35,000-square-foot Willow Stream Spa. During July and August at the Banff Springs Kid’s Club, ages 6 through 13 learn about wolves, play golf, take a river float trip, learn how to take digital photos and play disc golf. The resort also has a junior golf program plus a kids-oriented fitness program, RU Ready, as well as an 18-hole golf course.

This is a grand historic hotel in a unique mountain setting. Service was as expected and the food was excellent. The mattress and pillows were perfect for me. Our room close to the elevator made it easy to get to all our funcations.
This old style, luxury hotel has many many amenities and programs both during the winter and the summer. Visited for a conference so could not try all of them, but here are some basics:
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows, zip-out checkout without stopping at the front desk.
Front desk staff keeps open communication with you during the stay via text messages, but not extensively. Just enough that you feel being cared for.
Definitely will return if my travels bring me to Banff again.
