First class service from checking in to departure. Excellent rooms with breathtaking views. Very comfortable bed, quality bedding, towels and toiletries. Primrose restaurant 5 stars for menu choices, quality of food and presentation. Friendly , attentive waiting staff , made us feel so welcome. Loved the free shuttle into town , great walking and close by for gondola ride.
We stayed at the Rimrock for 5 nights mid May and enjoyed every minute. In reading previous reviews a lot of people commented on getting the best view from the higher rooms (floors 7-9). After a very long day of travelling we were thrilled to learn our room was ready early, however were advised it was on the fourth floor. We expressed our concern as our main reason for picking this location was the view. Jessica (I'm sorry if I have the name incorrect!!) was more than happy to show us the room first to ensure we were satisfied. And we were!! The view (from room 412) was beautiful - just as we imagined. We ate breakfast 3 mornings in the Primrose and the food was amazing. Twice our waitress was Daniell and she was wonderful. We had a nice time chatting with her about the area.
The bus passes into Banff are a great perk and we didn't find any issue with the parking for our Jeep. There were always enough spaces.
The proximity to the hot springs and Gondola ( a must) were also a plus.
If we ever get the pleasure of coming back to the area, we would definitely stay again!
