The Grand Coco is perfect for families who want to be on the beach with easy access to Playa del Carmen’s area attractions. Rooms have basic amenities and balconies with a Caribbean decor. Families can opt for the Presidential Suite, which offers more space, a DVD player and a kitchenette. Four unique restaurants serve an array of Caribbean and Mexican delicacies. A kids’ club takes place daily on the beach for children ages 4 through 12. Fun activities are supervised and the club runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids also can spend time splashing in the pool or monkey-ing around on the playground. Parents may want to treat themselves to a relaxing body treatment at the spa. Also, a nearby marina provides many water sport equipment, such as snorkel gear and kayaks.

A lovely hotel with outstanding food and service. The pools are lovely and clean and plenty of beds and the beach is amazing. Plenty of activities if you want them, the drinks are inclusive and very nice.

We came from Finland, a party of 5, to celebrate my 50th birthday. In advance i was in contact with Yuilianna and booked a birthday package. I was told that there is a surprise for BD in the room waiting on arriwal and the package i ordered would be payed on arriwal. When we arriwed front desk did not know anything about this and no surprise in room. Got so disappointed so i cancelled the package i order if guests are treated this way. I also asked for a nice room with a wiew, we didnt get that, almost no wiew at all and the room had no safty deposit box at all. Our family friends travveling with us got a room with nice wiew and a saftey box. Nice location at the hotel, near shopping and beach. The hotel could tell about jelly fishes that burns in the hotel beach, my son got burned really bad and after that refused to swim in hotel beach. There are 3 restaurants and a snack bar but the food is poor, no taste at all, and to little to choose from and food is nog enough if you are late. In the mornings there were no bacon, expect if you asked for it and no boiled eggs. The hygien issue is bad, the service people and the cooks do not were gloves, and in the poolbar they use plastic cups that they just rinses under tap water, samt with mixer, and you cant even wash yourt teath in Mexico in tap water but in the pool bar, just rinse under tap water and uses for next guest. Due to this 3/5 of our family was sick in tourist dhiarrea for several days of our vacation. The entertainment team was great, special thanks to Boris, that kept our kids in action. Liked him very much. But why the constanc noise/music by the pool? Screeming and shouting almost hole day. I would have wished for a couple hours each day that there would be no music at all so you can relax properly. All in all a average experience, would not come to this hotel again.
