These are apartment-style rooms in the heart of the French Quarter. This 19th century sanctuary called Grenoble House was named after the romantic walled city in France, where the legendary Dauphine family lived. It’s located one block from world famous Bourbon Street and three blocks from Canal Street and the chaotic beat of the Central Business District. Each of the 17 suites are equipped with completely furnished modern kitchens, including stove, conventional oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, disposal, cable TV, and other small appliances. This was the perfect place for my Mom's 60th birthday weekend. We had a group of girls and we felt safe and sound in our place and it was close enough to the action that we could easily access it without a hassle.
The place was perfect, the staff was terrific! We'd highly recommend staying here for a great time in NOLA!
Grenoble House is located one street (Dauphine) from Bourbon Street. Close but quiet. The apartments are well appointed and spacious. The spiral staircase in some units may present a difficulty for the less mobile. Alternative layouts are available. The property has spacious grounds including a swimming pool. The staff are approachable, knowledgeable. Chantelle at reception is invaluable - a mine of information. Should we visit NO again we will certainly stay at Grenoble House.
