This hotel might be OK to stay in for 1 night but not for anything over that. We stayed 4 nights and chose this hotel due to location, free parking, WiFi and breakfast. Also because we were told that the hotel has an actual crib (real crib). Location was great, it was being remodeled while we were there but we didn't hear any noise. That being said, we were put in a new room that was re-done. It was nice but the layout was very awkward and didn't flow well at all. There was all this space with nothing in it in the room that made the room cold and not cozy. Doors/shower/trim/AC units are still outdated and it is visible that they were painted over - it stands out when there's new carpet/tile in the room to compare it to. Breakfast was not good - just not what one would expect. A bunch of processed food, fake eggs and weirdly shaped egg cutouts. It looked and tasted as if it sat in the trays for a long time and would get dried out and just tasted nasty overall. No healthy options except some fruit and oatmeal - but if you got there too late it would have that nice dry top layer on it from being overheated for the duration of breakfast. They had waffle maker - not healthy but fresh and hot at least. All pastries and bread were dry and not good at all. Coffee and hot water for tea was lukewarm 80% of the time during the day. Tea/real half and half missing or running very low on tea bags. Staff was nice and friendly. They did not have a real crib for my child and didn't have any accommodation for a child who is too little to sleep in a big bed but too big for a pack and play. Beds cannot be moved against the wall to address this. But the mattress and pillow were comfortable. The trainee at check in was very sweet and called surrounding hotels to see if they had a crib and also found a crib rental service for us - so she really tried to make it work.Overall this hotel is just an OK hotel if you want to stay for 1 night. I wouldn't recommend staying there longer, especially with littles. At $148 per night this hotel is not worth staying at in my opinion.
The last hour accommodations requirement enabling me to be present for my sister’s surgery was without complication and special considerations were offered by the staff at the Hampton should I have needed them.
