Fire evacuation accommodations...

by

This was not a fun trip or family trip but an evacuation from a fire in our community. The staff at the hotel were so nice and answered 100's of our questions. They were all very pleasant and accommodating.

Check out freeway noise before accepting room

by alicerabbit

When we checked in, I requested a quiet room away from freeway noise. We were given room 303. After a while, I could not stand the road noise. On our way out to dinner, I asked about another room. Upon returning, we looked at room 340 facing the front parking lot. What a difference! We immediately moved there and had a very nice, quiet sleep. I don't understand why we were first put in to a room close to the freeway when we specifically asked for a QUIET room! Anyway, everything else was fine - typical Hampton Inn fare. This is a convenient, rather inexpensive, place to stay while touring wineries.
