Hilton Palacio sits on the River Walk in downtown San Antonio. Each room at the hotel has a private balcony, a plasma television, high-speed Internet access and comfy bedding. Suites offer more space, sitting areas with sleeper sofas and granite wet bars. An outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa is at the hotel. Guests can watch the downtown cityscape from a garden terrace. Ibiza is a Mediterranean-style restaurant with a patio that sits right on the river. Durty Nelly’s Irish Bar offers a friendly atmosphere with sing-a-longs and never-ending peanut supplies. For fun, families can walk two blocks to the Alamo, see what’s happening at the convention center or visit HemisFair Park.

I love the Hilton Palacio del Rio! It is a gorgeous hotel with an excellent staff! We stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights and it's right on the Riverwalk so everything you could possibly want to do is within walking distance. The room was clean with beautiful views. Even with the nightlife going on downstairs, I wasn't disturbed by it once.
Upon arrival, the valet service was prompt and attentive. For duration of our stay, I received text messages checking in to make sure my stay was going well, but they were not bothersome whatsoever. This is personal touch that I really appreciated.
Exploring throughout the hotel, I was always greeted by staff members with a smile.
We had stayed there during a high profile sporting event that was taking place in town and many of the other guests were participants of this event. Even with them staying there and what seemed to be a busy time for the staff, we were still treated very well and given personal attention.
I plan to return to San Antonio very soon and this will be the ONLY hotel I will stay in from now on. It was perfect!
A highly recommended venue for any business conference or vacation getaway. The facilities and staff were amazing and hospitable. Rooms were clean and comfortable...and with coffee!!! I'd definitely make my way back again!
