Comfortable stay in an excellent travel location

by PGNM

We stayed one night and chose this hotel because of the location and the chance to use some loyalty points. The staff were very good, particularly one lady on reception.Comfortable room and bed, extra pillows and room safe were a bonus. Late check out and free wifi were imoertant for us. The only down side was that 2 out of 3 coffee machines at breakfast were producing only Americano coffee. We will stay again.

Ok hotel but some minor niggled

by DavidC936

Stayed one night on business and had a basic fifth floor twin room which was looking tired. Asked for an ironing board and iron which arrived promptly but the ironing board was broken so had to fix it. Ordered some room service which arrived as uncovered warm garlic bread and chips with a boxed pizza. No condiments and the pizza had the most enormous lumps of figs on it most strange. No spoon for the dessert either so ended up using a teaspoon. Breakfast was ok but nothing special and it just felt like the whole place needs sprucing up. Staff were all pleasant and efficient so no complaints there just underwhelmed by the actual building itself.
