Decent hotel in a decent location

by EnVissHenke

Stayed here 4 nights for my London weekend trip with some friends. The hotel is near several underground stations and is within walking distance to the British Museum and Trafalgar Square.

The hotel standard is ok with typically British carpet floors. The bathroom seemed newly renovated but with the absence of a lock on the bathroom door.
Semi-traffic outside the hotel and thin walls (could hear neighbours talking) which might affect a light-sleeper. Some rooms have windows facing the innergarden which probably eliminates the traffic noise.
Room was cleaned everyday and the staff was friendly and helpful.

An English breakfast (egg, bacon, toast, beans etc.) was included in the price and it was ok. Not a buffet though.

All in all, 3 out of 5 stars.

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, free hot drinks, great location for central London. Near many sights. Nice breakfast, although the dining room was small and some people had to wait. great value for money
