One tragic flaw

by G9214QSbrianm

On the surface, this hotel is fabulous - good location, beautiful lobby, nice selection of food for breakfast, etc. however, there is one tragic flaw - the walls between the rooms are not well insulated. At night, you can hear someone cough next to you and hear every word of their conversation bedroom to bedroom. I was awakened at 2:41 am by a group of women galavanting down the hallway on a Thursday night yelling and laughing all the way into their room. The night before, I could hear the poor person next to me coughing. I love Homewood Suites but if I stay at this location again, I will have to consider some type of noise canceling effort as I’m not a light sleeper - don’t mind street noise etc. but this was surprising.

Great location, fantastic staff

by Rick M

The location was great - close enough to walk to many attractions if you wanted. Very clean & quiet. Breakfast choices were better than most that we have had and left us full until midafternoon. But, the most outstanding thing was the staff! Very friendly and accessible. I never passed by a single staff member who didn't at least say hello. They all would take the time to talk to you. One of the breakfast ladies was especially wonderful and made my wife her own scrambled eggs because of allergy considerations.
