Pleasant hotel, great location

Spent 7 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it. Very clean and quiet and front desk was helpful. Short walk to most attractions. Loved the park across the street where locals practiced yoga, tai chi and exercised to Mexican pop music,
Showering here was a character-builder. Barely warm water. The room faced a central courtyard and even with curtains drawn and all lights on it was dim. Very nice waiters who worked very hard. Food was ok. I would stay here again as its assets outweigh the difficulties.

Peaceful, friendly and helpful

We stayed in three different places in Oaxaca and this place was definitely the best. Quiet, immaculately clean, exceptional staff and nice restaurant. Only slight drawback is the shower temperature never rose above tepid in one room. The other room we had was fine. AC is nice for keeping our stuffy air, but it was either freezing with a.c. or stuffy with it off. No in between. We stayed in other hotels with no a.c. but ceiling fans and that was actually more comfortable. Oaxaca doesn't have the humidity that we suffer from in Virginia summers. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks to the lovely staff.
