Overview

At the Kriemhild, you can tailor your room size to your family’s needs: a triple for three, a quad for four, a suite for four to five (suite 301 has a sofa bed). Rooms are spacious, tidy, and equipped with free Wi-Fi. A full breakfast buffet is available (but not complimentary), and a supermarket is about a ten-minute walk away (note, however, that rooms/suites do not include kitchenettes). If you’re visiting in the summer, be aware that rooms are not air-conditioned and there is no pool.

I wish I could say better things about this hotel. It was just ok, and for the money, I think one could do better. The decor is tired, and the breakfast a bit basic (if you come down after 9 the eggs are pretty much gone and not replenished). There is no safe or iron in the room. When we went to settle our bill there was confusion about the number of days we had stayed and we felt rushed to pay even though it was wrong. We sorted it out and it was no problem, but it was a bit stressful. It is a ways out of Old Town, but if the weather had been nicer we would have enjoyed the beer garden at the end of the street and the nearby Nymphenburg Palace gardens.

Nice hotel

Nice place, stayed here for 3 nights. Friendly owners, nice clean spacious rooms. The breakfast buffet is delicious and we ate it every day. Excellent location, quiet neighborhood but easily accessible to the trains.
