10/10 best hotel in Prague for couples

by Shakked G

the breakfast was good and derisive, the staff was very kind and friendly, it was easy to get to and from the hotel by public transformation, we arrived at 23:30 and we did not get a room with one bed and they upgrade us for free to a better room

Lovely stay

by Bissette78

I was originally booked for the Duo Hotel but upon arrival I was told by the hotel manager that my booking had been cancelled in error and unfortunately were now fully booked.

He informed me that arrangements had been made for me to stay at their sister hotel in the city centre, the Leonardo Hotel. To which he added: " It's a very nice hotel as well."

My son and I were offered a complimentary drink while the transfer by taxi was arranged.

Upon arrival at the Leonardo Hotel, I was told that I had been upgraded to a junior suite but the room would not be ready until 1 1/2 hrs time. I was however given the option to have a double superior (like the one I had booked) which was available.

I was offered to view the double Superior room and based on what I saw I accepted it - partly because I was tired and wasn't prepared to wait for 1 1/2 hrs for the junior suite but mostly because I was happy with the room .

The room was clean, spacious, fairly modern and over looked the river which was lovely.

The reception staff were helpful whenever I needed directions to local places etc and the breakfast spread provided was lovely! There was more than enough options to choose from.

Although it was not the hotel I booked, I was happy with how quickly the matter was rectified. I loved the decor and the ambiance and my 9 year old son and I had a lovely stay.
