Located in the heart of the city, this hotel offers 234 rooms and suites with old-world charm, as well as a variety of family amenities, including an indoor pool in a tropical garden setting, sauna, hot tub and fitness center. Especially for families, there’s childcare for a fee, playpen and crib rentals, a kids’ playroom and self-service laundry. The onsite restaurant, Beffroi Steak House, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a small convenience shop carries snacks, beverages, sandwiches and prepared items from the restaurant. Room options include Two Double Beds, Signature Room with queen or king and sofa bed and Bedroom Suites with a queen or king bed and sofa bed. The Family Suite includes two queen beds and sofa bed, plus a small kitchenette with microwave and mini-fridge. Other rooms also include microwaves and mini-fridges, as well as free Wi-Fi. Indoor parking is available for a fee, and the hotel also offers ski and bike storage.

I did not end up staying at the hotel because Air Canada cancelled our flights due to mechanical issues and only can rebook us on the 18th of June (our day of planned return). So we decided to cancel the plan completely. We called Booking.com with whom we made our booking) to contact the hotel about waiving our cancellation fees because this situation is out of our control. By the way, we booked the Free Cancellation rate, and not the cheapest rate. The hotel refused to waive the CAD199 charge. I spend half of my life traveling and this is the ONLY time a hotel refused to waive such charges in similar situations. I find this very unreasonable and unexpected from a supposedly 4-star and nice hotel. I wished I had booked at Marriott instead.
Check in was fast no problem ,room was ok, could use a little more dusting,I was tired after a long drive ,and a lot off walking around town ,so I was really looking forward for a good night sleep ,well that’s were the problem was ,I felt like I was sleeping in a hole the whole night,I looked at the mattress in the morning,it looked like it was there since the opening off the hotel, so in the morning when I checked out off the room,I said to the condescending and ineffective supervisor ,that when I pay over 200$ I will like to have a bed that I don’t feel that I am sliding in the hole the whole night ,her response was “ No Worries “ ,customer service Zero ,I will not recommend this hotel ,there are other close by that you can use ,unless you have kids and want them to use the pool
