We chose the master suite just infront of the Lake Como for our 1st anniversary of wedding, and it was lovely, indeed a very good choice: Beautiful, new (modern) and clean decoration, cozy as well (at the new building).
The breakfast is perfect we just loved the macchiato, chocolate croissant and a range of cheese and yogurt butter. It could just have salted croissants and more cakes and pies to get even better. The saloon has a pretty decoration, fine and cozy at same time. One of our best and unforgettable breakfasts, lovely staff too, all english speakers and happy people at work. On 2018 we were traveling for 6 months throughout fancy hotels in South America and now since january in Italy, so we have lots of experience in hotels, services, staff and meals and surely we can recommend Villa Aurora (and believe, we are very demanding and thorough ). Please let us know if it is possible to have a part being at the hotel , a breakfast and paying for it, how much could it be please, so we could definitely go some day (we live near!)

Stayed here 10 years ago as part of our honeymoon. Just as enjoyable in 2019 as it was in 2009. Simple, elegant hotel with wonderfully friendly staff, a great restaurant and a superb sun deck overlooking lake Como. I’m sure there more luxurious hotels but few where you will be made to feel more at home. Run by the the Gregorio family for many years, this is a super hotel which has consistently gained excellent reviews for good reasons.
