What a great experience. We landed in Houston from Australia and arrived to the warmest welcome at this unique hotel. The decor and ambiance are chic and intriguing. Everywhere you turn there is a treat for the eye. Breakfast was fantastic and the location perfect.
I stayed here at the end of April for an industry conference.
Welcome at reception was considerably than most hotels I've stayed in while visiting the US which was nice.
The room was okay - pretty small, quirkily decorated (as was the whole hotel really).
Bathroom was nice. Bed was comfy, view was nice (out over the pool area).
Service in the bar/restaurant was excellent, prices were high but food quality was excellent.
Buffet food during the conference was fine.
In summary, better than many more business orientated hotels in Houston.
