The IBEROSTAR Selection Paraiso Lindo is a five-star property in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The all-inclusive, oceanfront resort features five swimming pools, six restaurants, three bars/snack bars, a spa, golf course, fitness classes, water sports, and kid-friendly entertainment. We especially love the hotel’s kids’ program, Star Camp, which is divided into three age groups: 4 to 7, 8 to 12 and 13 to 17.
The hotel offers Standard Two-Room Family Suites that can sleep up to six guests comfortably. All guestrooms feature mini-bars and coffeemakers, and microwaves are available upon request.

My girlfriend and I, accompanied by my family, had an excellent, memorable time. We stayed at Iberostar Lindo for my birthday week. The staff were extremely friendly and this was my first trip to Mexico. I wish I could give a shout out to everyone we had interacted with but I must mention a few by name. Augusto the wine sommelier , Jennifer with the entertainment crew at the pool and at the evening shows, building 51 Concierge Nestor, Walter, and Jazmin. The night of my birthday we went to The Geisha hibachi at the Maya resort (Thanks to Anna the supervisor at the front desk for the birthday dinner upgrade!) I have to give special recognition to Cornelio Ramirez Alvarez & Julio Velasco Escribano for the outstanding service and attention to detail at the Geisha restaurant. The food was very delicious and the alcohol was top shelf at our resort. Erick (spelling?) the waiter at the Maya buffet for dinner was MORE then attentive to our needs during dinner one evening as he kept our drinks filled, carried our plates back to our table from the buffet line, and continued to refresh our napkins across our laps. It is a birthday that I will never forget and certainly will return again one day as they made me feel like a King!! Please give Mexico a chance and consideration, especially this resort in particular, in your future travel plans! The grounds are stunning and beach was beautiful. You could easily get lost while admiring the gardens and wildlife. I am writing this review in hopes that upper management will recognize the above mentioned employees for their outstanding service in the hospitality industry! As I have never taken the time to write a review on TripAdvisor before! Folks who read this, don’t forget to tip these hard-working men and women. My only couple complaints would be that the wave pool was broken all week and this was one of the selling points for us when we booked. Also we wish that they had more outside entertainment such as dancing or a DJ poolside after the dinner hour until having to wait till later at night for the “adult hours” at the disco. With that said, none of these minor issues ruined our time. Thank you all again!

We just came back after spending one week in Lindo in August. I have to write two reviews because one review may be too long for everyone to read. This review is all about the services that we had received.
Day 1 Check in :
We arrived around 1pm and there were three young staff member working at the lobby and there was no line up. After presenting our documents, staff member spent quite a long time trying to locate 4 rooms for our party of 10. The first few rooms offered to us were quite far from each other so I requested the rooms to be at the same building. Eventually, she managed to put us all in building 55 which was right next to the theater. The wait was a bit long but most of my family member roamed around the lobby bar and we were in no hurry either. The staff were all polite, pleasant and helpful. Once the room were ready, we took the room number to the bell hop and the luggage were promptly delivered into our rooms.
Then I proceeded to go to meet our concierge Elizabeth at building 54 to book our dinner reservation. She was such a wonderful young lady, her smiles can turn your bad day to good. The concierge at the building took care of all our dinner reservation, reprogramming our room keys multiple times and also coordinate our lost and found effort. We never had to visit the front lobby until check out time.
Day 2 :
Our son lost his prescription glasses somewhere in the pool, wave pool or lazy river in the afternoon. The concierge assured us that the hotel staff would search the area later and also would look for "lost and found" and would let us know as soon as possible. After dinner, my wife asked me to check back with the concierge and I reluctantly did and never believed that anything would come up in a few hours. It did, the Concierge had the glasses! She told me that she was trying to ring us at our room but we were out to dinner. The glasses were returned to the Concierge desk because she made an effort to contact the right people and the department. Thanks again for all the staff member that were involved in this rescue effort.
Day 3 to Day 7:
Pool bar - Bartender Julio were always busy but never missed a thirsty customer. He also had an eagle eye and twice spot two guests from the beach resort and he politely told them that he could not serve them any drinks. All bartenders were professional and pleasant and would smile at you.
Star Cafe next to theater - We mostly visited at night and got our drinks and snacks. The staff might not speak very good English but their smile and body gesture made us feel comfortable. They were patience and work very efficiently.
Restaurant - There were hostesses at the door of every restaurant including the Buffet to open the door for us and took us in to find a table. This may not mean much but this was the little ting that a 5 star resort restaurant should have.
Pool side/theater/beach service - Waitresses came to us once in a while and served us drinks. At the beach, we requested snacks such as fries and potato wedge also.
Porter - Luggage delivery and pickup were fast and on time.
Housekeeping - Our room were cleaned everyday. Sometimes towel and fridge content were not replaced but we were not too picky about it. The towel animals on the bed were standard for all resorts but still a nice touch.
Iberostar management had carefully selected and trained these professional staff member to provide us with a wonderful experience in a 5 star resort as it should. It reminded me of the cast member at Disney who also had to adhere to the standard and policy of the company. The service at Iberostar Lindo was simply impeccable and by far the best we ever had and I wish every other traveler can enjoy and experience as we did. Give me a helpful vote if you agree with me.
