Perched upon the Oregon coastal cliffs, the stunning Inn at Otter Crest features 35 acres of lush forests, with many nature trails running through it, behind and around the property, and striking ocean views to the west. The Inn also has its own tide pools and resident harbor seals on Otter Crest beach. If that’s not enough nature, a pod of gray whales can often be seen from guestroom private balconies. Larger suites can accommodate families and the lofts and studios come complete with fireplaces and full kitchens. During your stay, enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool with hot tub and Jacuzzi, tennis courts, duck pond, and activity room with video games and a children’s playground.

The location of this place is breathtaking! Check in was fine. . So after a long drive getting here we decided that we would eat on the property at the Spyglass restaurant. But when we went there it said closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays!
That should be on the information list they give guests!
It would have bee nice if someone let us know the restaurant was closed! The young man at the front desk said he was new so he didn't know the area.
So we ventured out to Depoe Bay to get something to eat. Which was only 5 minutes away.
We really liked the location of our room 355. It over looked the ocean and we saw eagles perched in the trees. It was so tranquil. However, the bed was terrible, It was so badly sunken in. They really need to replace it. We were there only 2 nights but I can tell you we would have said something if we had stayed longer.
In the morning, I made the coffee in the room, too weak for me. So I phoned down and asked where to get a coffee. The woman gave me complicated directions to this cafe but neglected to tell us they had FREE COFFEE available 24 hours in the hotel lobby. Which was actually decent stronger coffee. I think the hotel should add that to the list of amenities they give all guests.
Over all I loved The Inn at Otter Crest.
If you're at all interested in the central Oregon coast, I highly recommend the Inn at Otter Crest. It's location is central to many day trips and fun activities. The Inn is incredibly beautiful with all the amenities and great views from pretty much every unit. It's such a great stay we wait the 2-3 years it takes to get a timeshare trade there and have been 3 times now since discovering the Inn in 2011.
