This oceanfront motel features simple, comfortable accommodations with beautiful views of the sea and easy beach access. It differs from typical motels in that its rooms and suites typically include a fireplace and kitchenette or full kitchen; plus, rather than standard boring decor, each room is outfitted with a different theme. Families, try the Lighthouse Room, which features a full kitchen, living area, bedroom with a king bed and twin bed, plus a separate hide-a-bed. Or try the smaller Nautical Room, outfitted like a ship’s cabin, complete with two in-wall bunks that kids will love. If you’re a family of three (or have a fourth who doesn’t mind sleeping on the couch), the Oregon Room or Hunting Lodge will suit your needs with a king bed and one twin. Every unit is incredibly charming and clean, ultimately an excellent value for your money.

We loved this place. Since it changed ownership we have stayed a few more times. The changes made to the rooms have not been for the better, and it no longer feels 'warm and cozy'. Poor workmanship on improvements, stairs to beach in disrepair with a great deal of foliage growing through and onto the steps make it feel unsafe. While we are hopeful things will improve, we have been disappointed the last two visits. :( The former managers made us feel so welcome and always went out of their way, especially when they did not have to. I hope the new owners take this into consideration as constructive feedback since we would like our once favorite place to become our favorite again.
Location on beach and view was best thing about this hotel. Hotel condition was not as pictured on website. Bathroom very rough. Bed appeared clean and was comfortable. Hotel in disrepair. Would not recommend staying here. Was basically a 1 star hotel at most. Did not receive maid service at all during our stay either. Grounds of hotel in very rough condition
