The 63 rooms at this family-run hotel overlooking the Gulf of Naples are all decorated in cheerful colors and with Mediterranean decor that really lends a sense of place. You can admire the island of Capri while basking in the pool. And the concierge can plan excursions to Capri, Ischia and Pompei for your gang.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Sorrento to send my clients. As an Italy Specialist, I have also stayed here myself and really loved the bartender, who kept me happily full of Sorrento Spritzes while I enjoyed the view of Vesuvius from the Terrace. Some rooms are a bit outdated, so this is the place to splurge a bit - you will be well rewarded. Only a short 20 minute walk to the marinas, this hotel is perfectly situated for the best of both worlds.

First time to Sorrento and so happy we picked the Minerva Hotel. A sea view is a must and the view of the Marina Grande is breathtaking. Staff are all welcoming and fun and a special thank you to Dino in the restaurant and his staff and Antonio in the bar who made our time there very special. Great location for a 15 minute stroll into Sorrento and access to bus, train and ferry easy. A great base to be in for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Food was beautiful with a different choice each night and the view from the pool and restaurant were exceptional. A lovely small hotel with friendly staff. We will definitely be returning.
