Everything about our stay here was wonderful. It is a beautiful old home with antiques that fit the era of this house. The linens, cleanliness, and comfort of our room were top notch. The location is excellent. Delicious breakfast and beautiful landscaping are a plus!

Quiet and comfortable

Moseley is a great B&B that is walking distance to all the action in Bar Harbor but sufficiently off the main drag to escape the crowds. We stayed in the Strath Eden room on the 3rd floor. The room was big and comfortable with plenty of windows for light. The bathroom was a bit narrow, but met our needs. The bed was very comfortable allowing for a great night's sleep. In the morning, they had made-to-order gourmet breakfast that was outstanding. If we came back again, we'd probably opt for one of the rooms with a private balcony.

We received good advice from Pam and all the other workers on where to eat and where to visit. Overall, we loved our visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia in October during the peak fall colors. I'd recommend flying in to Portland and driving along the coast up to Bar Harbor while taking in all the coastal lighthouses. We stayed in Rockland on the first night which was about half way up and flew home out of Bangor after our stay at Moseley.
