Impressed.

Last minute getaway to the coast for my husband and I...we stayed in the ground level with patio. Talk about million dollar view! The grounds were very clean and the room was impeccable. Ocean front, clean room (I’m a germ-a-phobe and walked around in bare feet!), comfy bed, quiet room, and the staff was so friendly and helpful!

We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful Place to Stay

My husband and I stayed two nights at the Pelican Shores Inn, celebrating our 40th anniversary. We loved the place and look forward to visiting again. The place had everything we wanted--a very comfortable king-sized bed, a mini-fridge and microwave (so we could save money by making our own lunches), a wonderful view of the ocean, and breakfast provided at no extra charge. And a midweek special price, to boot! The room was very clean, the shower was great, the temperature just right. They have a nice, heated pool, too, but we didn't get around to using it--the weather was good and we spent most of our time on the beach. The breakfast was simple, but quite nice: hot beverages, instant oatmeal and cold cereal, fresh fruit, muffins and bagels with a choice of toppings, yogurt (lactose-free, even), milk and juices, cheese sticks, and almonds. And there were cookies in the evening. The location of the hotel is perfect--a few blocks off Hwy 101, so it's quiet, and right above the beach. But the best thing about the place was probably the desk clerks. They were all cheerful and friendly, willing to help with the slightest request, and just plain nice people. We even found a note in our room when we entered wishing us a Happy Anniversary. I am looking forward to returning.
