Located conveniently between the Seattle/Tacoma International Airport (1 mile, and with a free 24-hour shuttle to and from) and the light rail station (3 blocks), which connects downtown Seattle, this no-frills, budget-friendly Red Roof Inn offers families a clean, comfortable and most of all, affordable choice when flying into or out of Seattle. It’s even good for families looking to spend a few vacation days exploring the city and the surrounding areas, Seattle sporting events, cruise ship terminals, Bainbridge Island, Olympic National Park and more without spending the money needed to stay closer to downtown. Kids ages 17 and younger stay free in rooms with adults, and those guestroom choices include a family-friendly deluxe two queen room with a pair of Serta beds, free Wi-Fi, microwave, mini-refrigerator and a coffeemaker.

Budget Friendly Short term stay

by Bridget D

This red roof inn is the perfect budget-friendly short term inn. We booked a three-night stay planning on spending most of our time in the city. There is a tram station a short walk from the inn. We enjoyed the room and its basic necessities. The inn is currently under construction so it is a bit noisy. Luckily you couldn't hear the planes taking off at the airport. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding clean. Our room cleanings each day were sub-par. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have free shuttles, to a mall and a few other locations. They also can store your luggage if you need to check out before your flight and kill some time roaming the city. The baggage storage really made our day. The room itself did the job and was great for a budget-friendly option for a short stay. I would not recommend this inn to families with young children, long stays, or the elderly.

Basic

A basic motel to spend the night before taking a plane. Could be better but was ok given the prices in the city. Transfer to and from airport included. You can buy some food at a neighbouring gas station; nothing more around.
