Our room was very comfortable, beds were great, the kitchen was very spacious and useful, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was very central and my kids really loved it! A very well run hotel.
Full Disclosure: I am a Platinum Elite Member, but my excellent experience wasn't due to my status as much as it was to the phenomenal people at the Residence Inn. We stayed here early in the summer to go to Storyland and the staff, Alana (sp?), Charlotte and team were terrific from bringing bedding to the fold out couch to late check out times. The hotel has a pool (fine hotel pool), free breakfast (that resembles shopping on Black Friday :) a fire pit where one can find families making smores or bikers smoking cigarettes (hopefully not at the same time) to a mini gold course. The best part has been the rooms which are terrific and overall, the staff. Our second trip, last week, Tricia made my summer. Things tight financially, booked a Motel 6 and just felt awful. Tricia managed to make a points night work and get us into a great room (I am sure others pitched in), But it would have been so easy to say "no" and she took the extra step to make "yes" happen. It was really appreciated. A big thank you! to everyone who works there!
