My husband and I are currently staying here as part of a small group. We stayed last night in a room with faulty air conditioning. There was no AC when we checked in so someone came up and fiddled with it. It worked until sometime in the middle of the night, when it quit again. In the morning, someone else came up and 'fixed' it, and it worked for a few more hours before calling it quits. They moved us (after way too much 'checking back' on my part for an available room). Finally, mid afternoon, we were moved to another room with - wait for it - no working AC. It's 8:30 p.m. and hot as heck in our room. I'm mad but we're done with this group of people- not asking for anything else. No one has called to check on how the new room is, and we definitely received no "I'm sorry" for the inconvenience of moving rooms. This is on management and training. We'll sweat it out and leave tomorrow, never to return. Oh and check out the tub in this photo. This is room #2. Evidently this is how Marriott Titanium members are treated. So incredibly disgusted.
We had a room on the 16th floor, which gave us two small balcony's. One from the bedroom and one from the living room. No room for a chair to sit on the balcony but still a great view while standing! The check-in process was easy and friendly. We had a room with a King bed and a Queen pull out couch in the living room. There were water bottles (free of charge) in the rooms, which I loved! The pool is unique as that it's indoor/outdoor. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants very easily. The hotel staff was also helpful in directing us to some good Kansas City BBQ at Jack's Stacks.
