Recently stripped down and renovated, this Anna Maria Island hotel now sports a clean, modern look in its rooms and “apartos,” the latter of which sleep up to four and have kitchen facilities. Studio suites also sleep up to four and have kitchenettes, sofa beds, and dining tables.
The resort lies across the street from the resort’s private beach and also gives its guests the get-wet option of a heated swimming pool. W-Fi access and breakfast are both included in its reasonable rates.

I picked this resort because it seemed like a gem and indeed it was a gem. Not too big, not too formal, just right. Friendly staff, cleanliness, good breakfast quick, coffee to take to the private table and chairs on the beach, also a large pool to enjoy!! What more could we want?
This place was perfect for me! I combined work nearby with some R & R. I chose the Silver Surf because it's across from the beach and had good reviews. I loved the place. Nice, clean room, with microwave, fridge and full size coffee pot. The bathroom was very small, but very clean and lots of extra towels. The proximity to restaurants, bars and the free trolley up and down the island was excellent. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient! I didn't use the pool or the grills but it was nice they had them! I highly recommend this hotel!
