Center of City

Because I am spoiled with having timeshare I always look for something reasonable when I have to book elsewhere. I look for convenience of what I want to be near, free breakfast and best value. Sleep Inn fit the bill. Room was clean and up to date. Big screen tv and comfortable bed. Price for 2 nights under 300 hundred. Location is next door to Convention Center. Walking distance to all major attractions. I like to walk. Breakfast was continental, waffles, eggs, pastry, cereal, toast, bagels, bacon, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt and tea.

the bunker

The windowless basement room was an unpleasant surprise, the disappointment compounded by relentlessness noise. I couldn't see what was beyond the wall - it sounded like a cross between a garbage can lid factory and minutes 15-25 of a "Paranormal Activity" movie. The more realistic answer is the restaurant next door and/or some heating/AC thing or a park. The wi-fi was spotty too. It avoids one star because the front desk people were nice and the location is great for Chinatown, Reading Terminal market and train stations.
