Opened in 2018, The Lodge at Gulf State Park offers beachfront accommodations that can’t be beat. Guestrooms are equipped with one king or two queen beds, and some guestrooms have bunk beds for kids. Suites feature private balconies and private bedrooms with one king bed; some suites have sleeper sofas in the living area, while others have bunk beds.

The hotel has two sophisticated, yet family-friendly onsite restaurants; a coffee and wine bar; a pool bar and grill (yes, there’s an outdoor swimming pool at this hotel!); and room service. Kids’ menus, kids’ programming, family packages, cribs, and highchairs are available for families.

Beautiful hotel and amazing amenities! The room was new and clean and the grounds and pool area were beautiful! The restaurant and wine bar were so great and the food was delicious. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Best hotel in Gulf Shores!

We will be back to the Lodge at the Gulf State Park every.single.time! This hotel is not only beautiful but the service was out of this world. I am also in the hospitality business and at times it can be very disappointing to find hotels with just 'ok' service. This hotel is the star performer. I can honestly say I did not experience a single person that did not speak or say hello, ask how we were, open a door, etc! Even the housekeeper introduced herself and said she would be the one cleaning our room (rm 557 did not catch her name Mar 14-17 dates). The last time I had that happen was on a cruise ship! If you don't visit the Perch restaurant for drinks at the bar with Alysha you're missing out! The Modera and Old Fashion that she makes is so good we went back both nights! Sure, the parking is a decent walk but valet is only $10! SO WORTH IT! The rooms are a bit far but if you read before you book you will see that its an environmentally friendly hotel - You walk outside to enjoy the scenery as you pass the pool and beach to take the (indoor) elevator up. Request a room close to the elevator if you care that much. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay and I know the hotel is new but keep it up guys! Don't let the customer service wear off! We will be back.
