TripAdvisor Rating

Opened in 2018, The Lodge at Gulf State Park offers beachfront accommodations that can’t be beat. Guestrooms are equipped with one king or two queen beds, and some guestrooms have bunk beds for kids. Suites feature private balconies and private bedrooms with one king bed; some suites have sleeper sofas in the living area, while others have bunk beds.

The hotel has two sophisticated, yet family-friendly onsite restaurants; a coffee and wine bar; a pool bar and grill (yes, there’s an outdoor swimming pool at this hotel!); and room service. Kids’ menus, kids’ programming, family packages, cribs, and highchairs are available for families.

Peaceful, relaxing stay

by jacbullard

Here at the resort now, having a lovely time....valet parking has been great, Logan was our arrival greeter at a crunch time on Saturday night & handled it well...using our AAA free breakfast buffet, wonderful...pool is great, we brought our own super-sized noodles for lounging, Dragonfly had good food & the bar was, a bar! always makes me happy! Contemporary design & so much smaller than the surrounding giant condos, this was perfect...our balcony does have a double, walled safety feature, but all you have to do is scoot the bar stool up for a perfect view (picture attached)...highly recommend the Lodge! *also really like Gulf Shores, developed but not overkill

Short summer trip.

Saw location on previous trip to area and decided to book. All new accommodations. Food was excellent. Location great next to Gulf State Park. Kids loved pool and activities. Only downside was Tropical storm Barry had double red flags which prevented ocean swimming. We plan to return.
