Opened in 2007 and completely renovated in 2014, The Westin Annapolis is the largest hotel in Annapolis, Maryland. Its regal look and multitude of event spaces make it especially popular for weddings. And while it’s not as popular for family vacations, it offers deluxe guestrooms and suites, an onsite restaurant with kids’ menus, and an indoor swimming pool. The hotel welcomes fur kids, too.
The Westin Annapolis is about a 15-minute walk from Historic Annapolis. Alternately, guests can hop on the city shuttle that departs (and drops off) at the office building across the street; one-way fare is $2 per adult and free for kids ages 5 and under (up to three per family), and day passes are available. The hotel is closer to the Navy football stadium than downtown; in fact, it’s the closest hotel to the field.

The service I received during a recent stay at the Annapolis Westin was truly exceptional!
Though my originally reserved room was unavailable for check-in when I arrived, Kimberly at the front desk - a consummate professional - ensured that I was taken care of, and actually offered me an upgrade.
Later, while at the lobby bar, Alfredo the bartender was very hospitable and took time to educate me on various brands of bourbon, and he fixed an excellent mixed drink!
The next morning at breakfast in the hotel restaurant, Kathy helped to make my meal very enjoyable with her pleasant and conscientious demeanor!
And finally, when I was checking out, the front desk staff (Markeese, Joey, and Viridiana) all took time to ensure that my experience exceeded my expectations.
This stay was one of the most pleasant I've had at any hotel - thank you all very much!

Nice, clean hotel. Loved that it was within walking distance of a local theater and many restaurants and shops. My only complaint is that internet was not included with the room. Guests are expected to pay an extra $10.95. You would think by now wifi would just be free to guests.
The hotel has a small indoor pool that's located next to the fitness center. It's mainly open on weekends, with limited hours from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday. Weekend hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. The pool is manned by a lifeguard.
Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, Azure serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a surprisingly casual setting -- perfect for families. The Art of Smart Timing
