Loved this hotel. When I arrived I was greeted by Gabriel. He was so nice and welcoming. Meet my friend on a girls trip. We stayed in a 1 bedroom. Fabulous room with everything you need for the week. Great location. You can walk to many restaurants and buss stop at resort on main street. We cant wait to go back.
My first impression of the overall experience is one star. However, the property is beautiful and so I'm giving it two stars. The staff are lazy and not helpful. Our United flight was cancelled due to a mechanical issue and so our vacation was postponed by a day. The hotel would not refund or credit us for the day and night missed due to no fault of our own would not upgrade our room, or provide us with credit to use for resort activities, i.e. Spa or food. We were told the hotel was full but it seemed very empty and so they could not provide us with any upgrades. To make matters worse, after we checked in we were directed to the concierge who tried to get us to go to a TIMESHARE meeting and followed up with us by phone at 9:00PM. This is after we already were harassed at the airport by more folks trying get us to go a timeshare meeting at another hotel.
They did not have any beach or pool activities on Monday and Wednesday as they were off during these days. Not sure why as this was spring break week for both US and Mexico.
The majority of the staff really had attitude issues. We asked for basketball and soccer ball to play with the kids at the gym and the lady at the desk said they were flat and they did not have a pump and she wasn't sure when they were going to get one. I then asked another guy who said they have both and they are pumped up. Really?
As far as the room, one of the outlets was not working. The housekeeping staff did not replenish the shampoo, conditioner and soap even though we are a family of four and most of it had already been used.
Pool Service is terrible. We waited more than an hour and half for a beer at the pool.
Rooms are outdated and the beds are small.
Would not stay here again.
