Location, location, location. You can’t get any closer to the ice cream shops and children’s boutiques of downtown Mystic than this attractive inn a block from the drawbridge made up to look like an oversized captain’s house. The main house has a large living room with complimentary breakfast and board games available throughout the day. Several other buildings cater to families with rooms with two double beds. In addition to the property’s proximity to downtown attractions, it also offers complimentary bikes on a first-come basis in order to visit the Seaport, Aquarium, and other local attractions, all just a short pedal away.

The best hotel in Mystic hands down! Beautiful, comfortable and the people are very helpful and always nice. You can walk the whole town from The Whaler and when you get back the lobby has water and coffee and just about anything else you could want! You can even watch the drawbridge from your room if you wish. It’s all just lovely and perfect!
My now husband and I decided after our wedding, we wanted a chill mini moon not too far from where we live. So we picked Mystic. The jewel of our trip was the Whalers Inn! It was a cozy, beautifully maintained property. The staff was not only friendly but helpful and professional! We were treated like family from check in to check out. Some perks we enjoyed, complimentary coffee and tea, chocolate chip cookies, fireplace in the lobby, breakfast at Grass and Bones, beautiful quiet room in the 1865 house, etc etc. We plan to come back for a stay every anniversary! Would highly highly recommend!
