Good morning readers. My wife and I traveled to the WIlliamsburg area for Business and extended our stay through that weekend for pleasure. It is a wonderful area with plenty to do, especially if you wish to learn more about the early days of our nation and the first settlements/established colonies before they were States. We were not to fussy about the hotels when we decided to stay because many were sold out for the weekend, This location had some good reviews and I agree with what I read. Great Room. It's large, well furnished and big enough to make you feel at home. The site has open grounds and offers lots of recreation (indoor and outdoor) for families..The parking at night can be a problem. They monitor the best they can to ensure everyone there is a guest or guest friends but it can be frustrating not to be able to park in front of the building you stay at if you stay out past the dinner hour enjoying the local sights. This was our only concern to share with future travelers.
we would visit this resort again. very clean quiet resort. a good central location for shopping and
very good restaurants. this resort did not feel over booked. Pool areas were spacious and seats were not packed in like sardines
